Dr Deepak Parashar (Founder, MedStats AI) is a biostatistician and AI researcher with over 16 years' experience spanning drug development, cancer trial methodology, and precision medicine. Trained at the Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre, he went on to serve as Senior Statistician at the CRUK Cambridge Institute, Associate Professor in Systems Biology and Oncology at the University of Warwick, and most recently as Deputy Lead of the Turing–Roche Partnership at The Alan Turing Institute (2024–2026). He now consults independently as Founder of MedStats AI, and holds a Visiting Professorship of Biostatistics in the Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics & Biomathematics at Georgetown University, Washington DC, alongside a Visiting Researcher role at the MRC Biostatistics Unit, Cambridge. He has been lead statistician on over 15 cancer clinical trials and has led industrial collaborations with Roche and AstraZeneca on machine learning and biomarker-guided decision frameworks.
